The Hemangioma & Vascular Birthmarks Clinic at OHSU is a multidisciplinary team of doctors working together to combine their respective specialized skills and perspectives in the diagnosis and treatment of hemangiomas and vascular malformations. This means a visit to the clinic will involve a visit with a team of doctors trained in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Dermatology, Interventional Radiology, Hematology, and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. When necessary, specialists from Ophthalmology, Oncology, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, Vascular Surgery, and Orthopedics may also be included in the team. Vascular malformations are not limited to any one part of the body, and often involve multiple systems of the body. Thus, a team approach is most effective for these often complex lesions and situations. Our multidisciplinary team is knowledgeable in the various methods of diagnosis and treatment for your or your child’s hemangioma or vascular malformation.
